3 If clouds are full of water, they pour rain on the earth. Whether a tree falls to the south or to the north, in the place where it falls, there it will lie. 4 Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.
5 As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.
Ecclesiastes 11:3-5
The teacher brings this truth to our attention often.
Truth is no human can comprehend God.
We try.
We fail.
Who puts water in the clouds?
Can we do that?
Gravity brings the tree to earth every time.
Know anyone who can turn off gravity?
The farming question?
The one who expects to be in control never is.
We’ve come to the truth:
God is over all and in command.
Look at it from this angle: God is Sovereign.
He owns the three O’s: Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent.
