This is what the Lord says:
“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls.
But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ Jeremiah 6:16
You know this. There are pivotal times in the life of every person where we need to make a choice. Jeremiah called them “crossroads.” What is the ancient path?
It’s God’s way. The BEST way.
At life’s “crossroad” there are two paths.
1…God’s path.
2…The “We will not walk in it” path.
Which path will you walk?
Ironwood is one of my favorite hardwood tree species. The parallel bark pattern, growing in clusters and the density of the wood are amazing. Call this picture “Iron Shade.”

Creator Words?
Here’s a little project for you. Go outside. Take this question in your mind: What is the origin of all you see, hear, feel, touch, and smell?…(don’t taste…save that for your lunch!) Once outside…Look around. Look at the sky. turn your face into the wind feel the air on your skin. If there is a tree nearby and you can, walk to it. Lean your shoulder into the tree. Close your eyes and listen. What is the origin of all the things your senses are telling you?
The Creator Words answer: God
It has been my practice for most of my life to attend to what happens outside.
My personal answer is God is the Creator of heaven and earth.
Why do I believe this? Why do I reject the answers evolution gives? There are two reasons.
A lifetime of observation of nature tells me what exists in nature was CREATED.
The Bible is clear: God is the maker of heaven and earth.
“He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— he remains faithful forever.”

The second place we find truth is in creation. In creation (call it nature if you wish) the power and love of God are clearly seen…click on the Romans 1:20 button…
Romans 1:20 has been a foundational verse for me since 2003. It clearly tells us God is the Creator of all things. It states that proof is given for God as Creator by nature…trees, birds, animals, plants, water, sun, moon, stars…anything else in nature you can think of-God made it…ALL of it. Look at nature…see the power and love of God.
Creator Words: Words and pictures to point all to the truth: God is the Creator of all things. He is over all-Sovereign.
