29 As Jesus and his disciples were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed him. 30 Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”
31 The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” 32 Jesus stopped and called them. “What do you want me to do for you?” he asked. 33 “Lord,” they answered, “we want our sight.”34 Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.
Matthew 20:29-34
What troubles you…now?
Does Jesus listen only to those with physical problems?
Is it necessary to shout for Jesus to hear us?
Hear again what Jesus said to the blind:
“What do you want me to do for you?”
Hear again the response of Jesus to their cry for help:
He “had compassion on them.”
NO need to shout…Jesus is next to you now.
Yes, God does that.
He knows your trouble(s). All of them.
He asks, “What do you want me to do for you?”
Tell HIM.
It doesn’t need to be fancy.
He will have compassion on YOU.
He will again have compassion on us; he will tread our iniquities underfoot. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. Micah 7:19 (ESV)
