2 Facts Bundled

5 Better to be criticized by a wise person

than to be praised by a fool.

6 A fool’s laughter is quickly gone,

like thorns crackling in a fire.

This also is meaningless. Ecclesiastes 7:5-6

Two facts bundled. First, learn to separate wise from foolish.

Listen to wise criticism. Reject the praise of a fool.

Wise criticism accepted builds character. A fool’s praise fosters absurdity.

How does one gain wisdom to separate wise from foolish?

Memories are short, we need reminding. Wisdom comes from God.

Is the laughter of a fool better than foolish praise?

Nobody accepts a clown’s counsel, or takes a buffoon serious.

The laughter of a fool serves no purpose, it’s empty.

Two facts bundled for us. Both about living earthly life.

Love, hope, peace, joy, wisdom, life everlasting come from God.

4 Show me the right path, O Lord;

point out the road for me to follow.

5 Lead me by your truth and teach me,

for you are the God who saves me.

All day long I put my hope in you.(NLT) (Ps. 25:4-5)
