Your Biggest Question

Matthew 16:13-16 (NLT)

13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”  14 “Well,” they replied, “some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.” 15 Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

A serious question is always worthy of a serious answer.

They had travelled with Him for months. Witnessed His miracles.

They had watched the reaction of thousands to His words.

The answer to His question came from an eyewitness, Peter.

Peter spoke fact for the other eleven. Twelve eyewitnesses agreed.

A legal will requires the testimony of only two witnesses.

No other human in world history has been called “Messiah.”

No other human ever identified as “THE SON OF GOD.”

Facts. The question remains. “Who do you say I am?”

Can you say with Peter?

“You’re the Son of God!”
