10 Everything has already been decided. It was known long ago what each person would be. So, there’s no use arguing with God about your destiny. 11 The more words you speak, the less they mean. So what good are they? 12 In the few days of our meaningless lives, who knows how our days can best be spent? Our lives are like a shadow. Who can tell what will happen on this earth after we are gone?
Ecclesiastes 6:10-13
It’s been decided. Don’t argue with God about your destiny.
What’s that? I have no part in deciding my life?
Fact. Someone else decides with perfect wisdom. It’s called sovereignty.
Synonyms are: control, authority dominance and dominion. Every one God’s.
We don’t lose anything. Gain everything. Control is all God’s.
Sovereignty. Before we’re born God numbers our days. Knows all.
We lose the important business deal. There’s another, God’s… Sovereignty.
Miss the flight. Dishonesty. Hatred. Suffering. Death. Why? God knows.
Don’t get the job, illness, loved one with cancer. Why?
God knows. He loves. We can trust HIM.
Stop asking.
