Live Dog or Dead Lion?

4-6 Still, anyone selected out for life has hope, for, as they say, “A living dog is better than a dead lion.” The living at least know something, even if it’s only that they’re going to die. But the dead know nothing and get nothing. They’re a minus that no one remembers. Their loves, their hates, yes, even their dreams, are long gone. There’s not a trace of them left in the affairs of this earth. Ecclesiastes 9:4-6 (MSG)

Where does life lead? The end: death.

Done.

Hold up.

Hear again.

Life leads to death.

Live dog? Dead lion.

The dog can run, bark, breathe.

The lion attracts decay worms.

Within hours of death traces of our lives fade. In days, gone.

Death without Jesus is more than decay, it’s punishment, everlasting torment.

Hold up, once more…

There is new life. Man or woman, death does not need to be our end.

New life is guaranteed in Jesus.

Genuine heaven becomes the destination. No torment.

Ask for a mind refresh, set your thoughts on things above.

Eternal peace awaits.

Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. 2 Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. 3 For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. Colossians 3:1-3
