2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Dear Creator Words reader,

You have been on my mind. It does not matter which category you fit. You have been on my mind. What are the “categories?” There are only two:

1. Those who believe Jesus is the Son of God.

2, Those who do not believe in Jesus.

What has occupied my thoughts concerning you? It is the truth found in 2 Corinthians 5:17. For those who believe in Jesus, the old (self) is gone. Jesus occupies the heart of every one who believes. That means bit by bit, over time the old person is replaced by the spirit and power of Jesus. Our old desires are removed. Our sin filled mouth is gradually cleaned our speech glorifies Jesus more and more. Yes, the one who believes Jesus is the Son of God become a NEW creation. AND-God makes us new…from the moment we believe.

If you are in the second category, you may be saying-or thinking-”I don’t want to become a believer in Jesus. I’ll have to give up everything.” Here is my answer to this often spoken reason for NOT trusting Jesus:

When you believe in Jesus YOU BECOME A NEW CREATION…read what the verse tells us again at the end:

THE OLD HAS GONE, THE NEW IS HERE!

We don’t GIVE UP life…we get a NEW life! Jesus does this for every one who believes. The old stuff you thought was SO important-WON’T BE. God gives us new priorities.

God makes new creations each month with the full moon. He gives the spider the ability to create a new web each time it is needed. Only God can make us new creations. And, what wonderful creations they are!
