Screen Time? What kind does your family have?

Every family has its “screens.” Every family spends time on screens. Creator Words counsel to you is…balance your “screen” time. The largest screens on earth are found outside. There are two of them. One is daytime, the other nighttime. Use the blog posts on this page to provide ideas which you can use to increase your outside screen time-day or night. Look for regular additions to provide you with new ideas. My suggestion for you and your family is to make the outside screens the place you spend the majority of your family and individual “screen” time. How big are the screens your family spends time on? Do you want a really, really big screen? Go outside…go outside…the best screen is beyond 4 walls.

The Best Time to Lay On Your Back

Want to make memories with your kids? Don’t plan an expensive trip to some destination. Save your family budget for other things. You can make memories with your children while all of you are on your backs. Use your deck, or better, use your lawn. Lay on your back with your kids…after sunset…when the stars are out. I have some ideas for you to try…we’ll call them the “Grandpa Plan.”

On the Trail with Blue Blazes

The two of us went on a long hike with a purpose. Wrapped in the hike was exercise, surprise, discovery, and pleasure. This hike did another thing-it made memories. These will fade slowly-they were made outside.
